The Modern Practice Setup
Expect a well-supported clinic and OR flow that helps your week run smoothly:

  • Clinic schedule: Mon–Thurs 8–5, Fri 8–12
  • Patient volume: typically 20–25 patients/day (open to more)
  • OR time: typically 1–2 surgery days/week with high case availability
  • Surgical volume: often 4–6 cases/day (up to 10 on vasectomy-only blocks)
  • Support model: dedicated MA per provider + PA, plus surgery scheduler, receptionist, and practice manager
  • Technology: Robotics in place and Aquablation platform recently added for advanced prostate treatment
  • EMR: Athena (clinic) + Cerner (hospital)
  • Case mix: broad scope including RALP, TURP, nephrectomy, endourology, prosthetics, litho, ureteroscopy, cystoscopy, vasectomy (some peds, not complex)
